Scholarships Available for NAMPI Conference

The NAMPI board has approved scholarships available for the 2008 NAMPI Conference based on need. Registration costs will be deducted and the remainder of the scholarship will be given to the recipient at the conference to apply to other conference costs. There will be only one scholarship awarded to each state. Please provide the following information when submitting your scholarship request:

• How are you involved with the SURS program?
• How long since someone from your state attended a conference?
• How will attending the conference benefit your state?
• Why do you need assistance?

All scholarship applications are due no later than close of business June 15, 2008 and should be sent to the NAMPI secretary Margaret Summers at  margaret.summers@alaska.gov.
